Arrive at Guwahati Airport and meet your fellow travellers (meeting point: Guwahati Airport, 9:00 AM). Drive to Shillong, the scenic capital of Meghalaya (approx. 3–4 hours). If time permits, visit the stunning Umiam Lake (Borapani Lake) — one of the largest lakes in Shillong, perfect for photos and peaceful views. Enjoy a relaxed evening exploring Shillong at your own pace.
After breakfast, head to Cherrapunji (Sohra) — one of the wettest places on Earth, famous for its unique natural beauty. Visit the gorgeous Elephant Falls and explore the Mawsmai Caves, known for their limestone formations. Arrive in Cherrapunji by evening and unwind.
Start early with a packed breakfast for an unforgettable trek to the iconic Living Root Bridges. The moderate hike leads you through local villages and lush green landscapes to discover the stunning Double Decker Root Bridge — a natural marvel made from braided tree roots. The trek is challenging but absolutely worth it.
After breakfast, start your day trip to Mawlynnong Village (approx. 3–4 hours) — a shining example of community-led cleanliness and sustainable tourism. Wake up to a serene Mawlynnong morning and begin your drive back to Shillong. En route, stop at Dawki River, one of India's cleanest and most transparent rivers, for photos and a last look at the region's famous crystal-clear waters.

We keep our group sizes deliberately small, typically 12–14 travellers, allowing us to deliver personalised, attentive service to every solo woman on the trip.
It's a moderate hike through local villages and lush landscapes — genuinely rewarding, but with real ups and downs. Comfortable walking shoes are essential.
Daily breakfast is included throughout, with dinner also included on the night in Mawlynnong. Other meals are not included, so you're free to explore local Khasi food along the way.
The trip begins at Guwahati Airport at 9:00 AM. Our team will guide you on flight options into Guwahati before the trip.
As standard, we provide twin-sharing accommodation so solo travellers can connect with the group. Single occupancy can be arranged on request for an additional charge, where available.
