Beachfront Stay, Every NightFive nights at the Outrigger Mauritius Resort & Spa — waking up to the Indian Ocean every morning.

From sacred craters
to island shores.

You land and the air hits you first — warm, slightly salt-kissed, tropical. Over six days, Mauritius shows you everything it has: a sacred lake where pilgrims come each year, a valley where the earth itself is painted in seven colours, a colonial port city still humming with history, and then — Ile aux Cerfs.

An island you reach by speedboat. White sand, turquoise water, no agenda. This is the day the whole trip has been building toward.

Day One
🛬
Mauritius
Arrival · First Impressions
🍽 Meals: Dinner included
You've arrived. The island is already working on you.
The moment you step out of the airport, the warmth is different — it carries salt and something floral you can't quite name. We meet at Port Louis Airport as a group, transfer to the hotel, and check in to the Outrigger Mauritius Resort & Spa. Tonight, we break the ice over dinner by the ocean, with the sound of waves doing half the work. By tomorrow morning, you'll feel right at home.

Day Two
🌋
South Mauritius
Sacred Lake · Colours · Crater
🍽 Meals: Breakfast & Dinner
Where the earth is painted — and the sacred meets the spectacular.
We head south through the heart of the island. First, Grand Bassin — the sacred lake nestled in a volcanic crater, where the towering 108-foot Lord Shiva statue watches over the water in silence. Then Plaine Champagne, through Bassin Blanc, an extinct volcanic crater with views that make you forget language. The Valley of Colours follows — where the earth itself exists in seven distinct natural hues, a geological wonder that doesn't look real.

There are adventure activities available at an extra cost — zip lines, Nepalese bridge, jeep rides. Then Floreal for souvenir shopping, the Model Ship Factory, and Trou Aux Cerfs volcanic crater viewpoint. We drive through Curepipe on the way back — a scenic, unhurried town.

Day Three
🏛️
Port Louis
Culture · Heritage · City
🍽 Meals: Breakfast & Dinner
A city built on five centuries of history — and one really good dhol puri.
We visit the Sugar Museum first — five centuries of architectural, industrial, and natural heritage preserved in one extraordinary space. Then complimentary rum tasting (yes, really) before we head into Port Louis, the vibrant capital. From the Citadel Fort, you get a sweeping panoramic view of the harbour.

We drive through Chinatown, past the Catholic Church, mosque, High Court building, the historic Port Louis Theatre, and French colonial buildings that feel like they're still mid-conversation with each other. At Port Louis Bazaar, we taste traditional Mauritian Dhol Puri and spiced curries. Then shopping at the Caudan Waterfront, a visit to the Aapravasi Ghat — a UNESCO World Heritage Site — and the Kuanfu Tea Factory to close the day.

Leisure · Optional Excursions
🍽 Meals: Breakfast & Dinner
Your day. Your pace. The ocean isn't going anywhere.
This day is designed for you to breathe. Enjoy the property — the pool, the beach, the view from your room. Explore the area at your own pace. If you want more adventure, two optional excursions are available at an additional cost of USD 65 each: Casela Nature Park (wildlife, ziplines, a safari experience) or the Chamarel Seven Coloured Earth Geopark (one of Mauritius's most iconic sights). Both are private transfers — no crowded buses.

Ile aux Cerfs
Island · Water Sports · Pure Joy
🍽 Meals: Breakfast & Dinner
A speedboat, a private island, and nothing but turquoise in every direction.
The day everyone on the trip has been waiting for. We head to Belle Mare Plage first, where optional water sports await — parasailing, undersea walk, tube ride (all at extra cost, worth every rupee). Then a shuttle speedboat takes us to Ile aux Cerfs, spread across 87 hectares of untouched land off the east coast of Mauritius. White sand beaches. Turquoise lagoons. The kind of quiet that only exists on islands.

We visit a local waterfall on the way. The return is by speedboat as the sun begins its descent — golden water, salt in your hair, the mainland coming back into view. Tonight, the group will want to stay up a little longer.

Departure
Farewell · Until Next Time
You leave Mauritius. But Mauritius never quite leaves you.
A calm final breakfast with the ocean one last time. Free time to soak in what just happened — the colours, the water, the women you shared it all with. Then group transfer to Port Louis Airport and a goodbye that doesn't feel like one, because everyone's already planning the next trip together.

Mauritius doesn't stay just in your photos. It stays in how you feel when you look at them.
✦ From Team Jugni: Thank you for trusting us with 5 days of your life. We don't take that lightly — ever.

Questions we hear often.

Do I need a visa for Mauritius?
No visa required for Indian passport holders. You receive a free 60-day entry on arrival in Mauritius. All you need is a valid passport and a return ticket. It's one of the most hassle-free international destinations for Indians.
What is the Ile aux Cerfs island like?
Ile aux Cerfs is a 87-hectare island off the east coast of Mauritius, famous for its white sandy beaches and crystal-clear turquoise lagoons. You reach it by speedboat, and once you're there, it's pure beach paradise — the kind of place you've seen on screensavers and couldn't believe was real.
Is Mauritius safe for solo women travellers?
Mauritius is consistently ranked among the safest destinations in Africa and the Indian Ocean region. It's English-speaking, well-developed, and very welcoming. Add to that the fact that you're with a women-only Jugni group — you have the island and a group of women who have your back.
What's the weather like in July?
July is Mauritius's dry season — one of the best times to visit. Temperatures are pleasantly warm (around 22–26°C), the skies are clear, and the sea is calm. Pack light layers for evenings, but days are beautiful. No monsoon, no humidity spikes.
What if I've never travelled internationally before?
You're in exactly the right place. Mauritius is one of the most beginner-friendly international destinations — English is widely spoken, infrastructure is excellent, and the people are incredibly warm. We guide you through flights, packing, and everything in between. Many of our travellers took their first international trip with Jugni.
Are the optional excursions worth it?
If your schedule and budget allow, yes. Casela Nature Park is wonderful for wildlife and adventure. Chamarel's Seven Coloured Earth is one of Mauritius's most iconic sights. Both are private transfers at USD 65 per person. You can decide once you're there — no pressure, no deadlines.

If turquoise water and island time
have been on your list — this is your sign.

This group is intentionally small. Reach out today and we'll share everything — pricing, dates, visa, flights. We'd love to take you there.
