From palace gates
to volcanic shores.

South Korea is four countries in one trip. Seoul is ancient palaces and rooftop cafes and the best street food you will ever eat. Gyeongju is old Korea — thousand-year-old temples and observatory towers that have watched the stars for centuries. Busan is the sea, Gamcheon's colours, and the kind of beach that stays in your memory. Jeju is volcanic, dramatic, and unlike anywhere else in Asia.

Nine days. Four worlds. One trip you will not stop talking about.

Day One
🛬
Seoul
Arrival · Seoul City Tour
🍽 Breakfast: Hotel
You land in Seoul. The city meets you immediately.
Arrive at Incheon International Airport and meet your guide. No rest-first rules here — Seoul starts immediately. Gyeongbokgung Palace is first: the grandest of Korea's five great palaces, built in 1395, with its iconic gate where the changing of the guard happens every hour. Then Blue House (pass by) — the former presidential residence surrounded by mountains. Bukchon Hanok Village, where 600-year-old traditional Korean houses line narrow alleyways, and every corner is a photograph. Finally N Seoul Tower by cable car — the city spreading in every direction below you, lit by late afternoon light.

📌 Day 1 itinerary depends on your flight timings. We will cover as much as we can on arrival day — whatever we miss, we pick up over the next few days in Seoul. Nothing is lost, just rescheduled.

Day Two
🍂
Nami Island
Nami Island · Petite France · Garden of Morning Calm
🍽 Breakfast: Hotel
The island that launched a thousand K-dramas. In November, it's pure gold.
Nami Island is where it all started — the filming location of Winter Sonata, the drama that introduced Korean content to the world. A small river island reached by ferry, lined with trees that turn amber and red in November. It is as beautiful in person as every photo suggests. Then Petite France — a European-themed village perched on a Korean hillside, improbably charming. Finally the Garden of the Morning Calm, Korea's most celebrated garden, at its most atmospheric in the autumn light.
Nami IslandFerry CrossingPetite FranceGarden of Morning Calm
🍂 November is arguably the best month to visit Nami — the autumn foliage is at peak colour and the island feels like a scene from a drama you're finally inside.

Day Three
🚄
Gyeongju · Busan
KTX Train · Ancient Temples · Coastal City
🍽 Breakfast: Hotel
From Seoul's speed to Gyeongju's stillness — then Busan's energy.
Transfer to Seoul Station for the KTX — Korea's high-speed rail that connects cities at up to 300km/h. Arrive in Gyeongju, the ancient capital of the Silla Kingdom, and spend the day with 1,000 years of history. Bulguksa Temple is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Korea's most important Buddhist temples — stone pagodas, lotus pond, mountain backdrop. Cheomseongdae Observatory is the oldest surviving astronomical observatory in Asia, built in the 7th century. Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond at dusk — the reflection of the palace walls in the still water is a photograph you will actually use. Then drive to Busan for overnight.

🌊
Busan
Gamcheon · Jagalchi · Sky Capsule · Haeundae
🍽 Breakfast: Hotel
Korea's second city hits different. Colourful, coastal, and completely its own.
Gamcheon Culture Village first — a hillside neighbourhood painted in every colour, with murals around every corner and staircases that lead to unexpected views of the sea. This is Busan's soul made visible. Then Jagalchi Market, Korea's largest seafood market, where the catch of the morning is still alive in tanks and the energy is pure and chaotic and wonderful. Haedong Yonggungsa Temple perched on a cliff above the sea — the only coastal temple in Korea. Then the highlight: Haeundae Sky Capsule Beach Train, coloured glass pods that ride one-way above the coast with the East Sea below you. Finish at Haeundae Beach and Dalmaji Road for the evening.

🌋
Jeju Island
Domestic Flight · East Course · Sunrise Peak
🍽 Breakfast: Hotel
Jeju is Korea's volcanic island — and it plays by its own rules.
Fly from Gimhae Airport to Jeju. The island opens up below you as you descend — volcanic crater, green hills, the sea on every side. Pick-up at Jeju Airport and straight into the East Course. Seongsan Sunrise Peak is a UNESCO World Heritage Site — a 182-metre volcanic crater that rises dramatically from the sea. The haenyeo (women divers) have been harvesting from these waters for centuries. Seong-eup Folk Village: an entire traditional Korean village preserved exactly as it was — the kind of place you walk through slowly. Haenyeo Museum to understand these remarkable women who dive without oxygen equipment to 10-20 metres, continuing a practice that is 2,000 years old.

Day Six
🏔
Jeju
South Course · Mt. Halla · Alive Museum
🍽 Breakfast: Hotel
The day Korea's highest peak enters the frame.
Full day on the South Course. Mysterious Road first — a stretch of road where the optical illusion makes cars appear to roll uphill. Then Mt. Hallasan, Korea's highest peak at 1,950 metres and a UNESCO World Heritage Site — a one-hour trekking section through the national park, past volcanic craters and ancient lava fields. Hallasan National Park surrounds you entirely. In the afternoon, Alive Museum — an interactive art museum where every installation puts you inside the painting. The group photographs from here are always extraordinary.

🌊
Jeju
West Course · Hallim Park · Waterfall
🍽 Breakfast: Hotel
The gentle side of Jeju. Beaches, gardens, and a waterfall at the end.
Jeju's West Course is quieter, greener, and more contemplative. Hyeopjae Beach — white sand and shallow turquoise water, with the dark volcanic rock of the coastline as contrast. Hallim Park: a vast garden complex with sculpted topiary, sub-tropical plants, caves formed by ancient lava tubes, and folk villages. The bonsai section alone takes an hour. Finally Cheonjiyeon Waterfall, tumbling 22 metres into a pool surrounded by subtropical forest — the name means "sky-connecting pond." This is Jeju at its most beautiful.

Seoul
Jeju → Seoul · Insadong · Han River Cruise
🍽 Breakfast: Hotel
Back to Seoul for one last day — and it doesn't hold back.
Fly from Jeju to Seoul Gimpo Airport. Pick-up and straight into the city for a final Seoul sightseeing circuit. Insadong Arts and Crafts Market — narrow streets lined with galleries, traditional tea houses, craft shops, and street vendors selling hotteok (sweet pancakes) and ddeokbokki. Cheonggyecheon Stream: an 11-kilometre urban stream flowing through central Seoul, flanked by walkways and art installations. The Museum of War Memorial — sobering, important, and beautifully designed. Then Han River Cruise as the evening closes — the city lights reflected on the Han River, and Seoul looking like a dream from the water.

Departure

Transfer to Incheon International Airport for your flights onward. The nine days happened. They always do, faster than you expect. And they always leave more than they take.

✦ Before You Pack

What to carry
to Korea.

November in Korea is autumn — crisp, cool, and one of the most beautiful times to visit. Pack for 5–15°C in Seoul and Gyeongju, and slightly warmer on Jeju. Layers are essential.

🎒
Essentials
Warm layers — a good jacket is non-negotiable for November Seoul. Comfortable walking shoes — Korea is explored on foot. Original ID proof (Passport mandatory for international travel). Korean Won in cash — card works almost everywhere but markets prefer cash. A good camera — Korea in autumn is extraordinary.
Ask Us Anything
🌡️
November in Korea
Seoul: 5–15°C · Layer up for evenings. Gyeongju and Busan: slightly milder. Jeju: warmest of the four at 12–18°C. The autumn foliage peaks in November — Nami Island, Gyeongbokgung, and Hallim Park will all be extraordinary. Rain jacket recommended. The cold is dry and manageable.

Questions we hear often.

Do Indian passport holders need a visa for South Korea?
Currently, Indian passport holders require a visa for South Korea. The process is straightforward — we guide you through the documentation and application. Our visa success rate for supported applications is very high. Contact us early so there is ample time.
Is November a good time to visit Korea?
November is one of the best times. The autumn foliage peaks in early-to-mid November — Nami Island, Gyeongbokgung Palace, and the mountain parks are at their most dramatic. It's cool (5–15°C in Seoul) but dry, crisp, and visually extraordinary. Pack layers and enjoy one of Korea's most beautiful seasons.
What about food? Will there be options for vegetarians?
Here is how Nitesh thinks about food on this trip: Saravana Bhavan in Seoul will make you go mad — it is that good. A few Indian meals are included to settle you down when you need the comfort. There are plenty of Indian restaurants around Seoul and Busan. And we are bringing theplas — so you are never without a backup. Vegetarians, you are fully covered throughout. The rest of the time, Korea feeds you brilliantly: Korean BBQ, bibimbap, japchae, tteokbokki, bingsu. Go explore.
Can I wear a hanbok on this trip?
Yes — and you absolutely should. Hanbok rental shops line the entrance of Gyeongbokgung Palace on Day 1. Wearing a hanbok gets you free entry to the palace and several other heritage sites. The photographs are extraordinary — autumn colours, ancient palace architecture, and traditional dress.
Is Korea safe for solo women travellers?
South Korea is consistently ranked among the safest countries in the world. It's clean, well-organised, English is widely spoken in tourist areas, and the culture is respectful. On a Jugni trip, you also have a trip leader with you and a group of women around you throughout — safety at every level.
Are flights included?
International flights to Incheon and from Seoul are not included — but we help coordinate so the group travels together on the same routes. Domestic flights within Korea (Busan to Jeju, Jeju to Seoul) and the KTX train are all included in the package price.
