Kotgarh. Baga Sarahan. Two offbeat villages, apple orchards, and a New Year's Eve you'll spend under an actual sky full of stars — not a countdown clock.
Over a decade of crafting safe, soulful journeys for women across India and the world.
A growing community of women who keep coming back — that says everything.
Two nights in Kotgarh, two in Baga Sarahan — every evening ends around a fire, not a screen.
A farm stay in Kotgarh and a mountain hotel in Baga Sarahan — chosen for warmth, not scale.
Return HRTC Volvo included both ways — no flights, no transfers to coordinate on your own.
Every review is real, every story is hers. Our reputation is built by the women who've travelled with us.
Two villages most travellers have never heard of, connected by a scenic Himalayan drive — and a New Year's Eve spent hiking, not queuing for a table.
Apple orchards, a heritage church, a mountain lake, bonfire nights
Meadows, snow-capped peaks, a waterfall hike, New Year's Eve
Rampur Bushahr, a last mountain evening, Mall Road sunset
No club countdowns, no traffic jams. Just a bonfire, good company, and a sky full of stars in Baga Sarahan.
Kotgarh and Baga Sarahan are hidden gems — not the Shimla-Manali circuit everyone's already seen.
A moderate hike to a secluded waterfall, heritage trails, and forest walks — this trip moves at a gentle but real pace.
You board the Volvo alone in Delhi. You come home with women who became your New Year's tribe.
Balance payment due 30 days before departure (domestic trip) — by 29 Nov 2026.
Depart Delhi by overnight Volvo, waking up to the fresh mountain air of Himachal Pradesh. Breakfast en route, then board a private Tempo Traveller and drive through dense forests and apple & cherry orchards, past the charming town of Narkanda, to a cosy homestay in Kotgarh. In the evening: heritage trails, the historic church, a peaceful mountain lake, apple orchards, and a bonfire under the stars.
Breakfast with mountain views, then a scenic drive through valleys and forest roads to the untouched village of Baga Sarahan, with lunch on the way. Check into the mountain retreat and slow down amidst lush meadows and snow-capped peaks. Evening: bonfire, great conversations, and a peaceful Himalayan sunset.
A leisurely breakfast, then a moderate hike through forests to a hidden waterfall — time to reflect on the year gone by. In the evening: music, bonfire, painting, delicious food and wonderful company as you welcome the New Year beneath a sky full of stars in the heart of the Himalayas.
Wake up to the first sunrise of the year, then a scenic drive back to Kotgarh with a stop at Rampur Bushahr to experience traditional Pahadi life, and lunch on the way. Check in for one last cosy mountain evening.
One more peaceful mountain morning, a gentle forest walk with Alpha (our resident four-legged host), and breakfast at the property. Drive back to Shimla with a sunset break at a cosy café on Mall Road, then a late-evening Volvo back to Delhi — reaching ISBT early morning on Jan 03. One last hug, and a quiet promise to travel together again.
No big chain hotels — a farm stay and a mountain hotel, each chosen for warmth over scale.
Tucked among apple orchards and deodar forest, this cosy farm stay is the base for heritage trails, the historic church, and long bonfire evenings. Alpha, the resident dog, will see you off on your last morning.
A quiet mountain retreat surrounded by meadows and snow-capped peaks — the setting for the waterfall hike and a New Year's Eve celebration under the stars.
Late December in Kotgarh and Baga Sarahan is genuinely cold — pack for a real Himalayan winter, not a weekend hill trip.
Warm layers, a proper jacket, and comfortable walking shoes are non-negotiable for the waterfall hike and forest trails. Homestays and mountain hotels are cosy but remote — some amenities may be limited, so pack accordingly.
We keep our group sizes deliberately small, typically 12–14 travellers, so we can deliver personalised, attentive service to every solo woman on the trip.
4 breakfasts and all dinners are included — mostly simple, home-cooked meals at the homestays. Breakfast on Day 1 and all lunches are not included, so you can eat what you like on the road.
It's a moderate hike through forest trails to a hidden waterfall near Baga Sarahan — manageable for most fitness levels, but comfortable walking shoes are a must.
As standard, we provide twin/double-sharing accommodation so solo travellers can connect with the group. Single occupancy can be arranged on request for an additional charge.
No. Jugni travellers come from across India and the world. The trip starts and ends at Delhi ISBT via the return Volvo — our team will guide you through getting there.
No upper age limit. We've had women in their 20s through their 60s travel with us — what matters is your curiosity, not your age.
